The XD Project

The XD project is a multi-purpose website where you will find blogs from a few Australian blokes and a sheila, and also a co-authored fantasy novel we’ll be writing. There will also be a few comics, as, when and if we find time to draw them.

MEMBERS:

Daniel: Daniel is an accountant/programmer with a strong interest in web design and administration. He takes life from whatever angle it’s coming to him, and will post in various veins accordingly. His main interests include music, playing piano, ice-skating, spending time with his younger siblings, his church, helping out his political party, writing novels and playing computer games. Daniel is the site administrator and dictator.

DoozerDan: Dan is a Professional Bum who holds a Diploma in Sound Engineering. He also has a very keen interest in writing. He’s semi-active on several (meaning one) story-writing website(s) and has won competitions with his work. With a keen sense of humour, Dan manages to keep his readers bemused until they finish reading. Like his counter-part, Dan enjoys ice-skating, writing, and music, playing computer games, playing guitar, and, as rumour would have it (EDIT: Rumour has been confirmed), enjoys playing with fire.

Caffeine Addict: Used to be an Engineer, but is currently also a professional bum. He is a writer of a few short dark comedies, CA likes to approach a story from where no one else is going to see it. Like the other authors, CA shares interests in ice skating, church, music, and also plays the piano. Word on the street is that this guy can do a pretty mean “Flight of the Bumblebee” on an iPhone keyboard.

Abba12: Abba has studied IT at TAFE, but don’t bring it up around her, or she will hit you with her stick, she much prefers the idea of having woken up one day and just “known” how computers work. She has also done a number of short stories, which her husband, CA, should probably read so he knows what he’s talking about when he writes her ‘About’ page. And, like the other authors, this one also shares interests in ice skating, church, and music. Write nice comments on her stuff and she wont be forced to hit you with her white cane.

Bob: Bob is a great little guy who hangs around the site doing helpful little stuff like picture alignment.  Any time he notices a picture out of alignment with the site he bounces in and fixes everything up so it looks neat and tidy for 99% of viewers (the 1% of you who are still using Windows 95 or CRT monitors can work out your own solutions, says Bob).

Please note that the site needs to store cookies for certain generated content (DON’T LET THEM TAKE ME AWAY I TOLD EVERYONE SO THE LAWYERS DIDN’T BREAK MY LEGS!!!)
